Amari Campbell
Hi! My name is Amari Campbell and I love film. Every aspect of filmmaking intrigues me, from the writing to the directing to the cinematography. I've had a love and passion for filmmaking since I was a small child, always wanting to tell my own stories and affect the lives of others with my art.
In just 17 short years of life, film has infiltrated my life by means of: Tradition, Amusement Parks and Family Fun.
Tradition: Every October my dad and I complete a scary movie marathon, watching everything from classics like The Birds to modern day thrills like The Conjuring series
Amusement Park: Film runs so deep in my blood that my favorite amusement park is based on my love for film, Universal Studios. The way they are able to capture the essence of a movie in a simulation or a ride is truly breathtaking and the way they are able to recreate whole worlds from movies is marvelous
Family Fun: I created a YouTube channel for fun with the simple intention of being able to practice my filmmaking skills. I didn't take it too seriously, but through the journey I learned a lot about cameras, lighting and editing.
In September 2020 I plan to go to school to learn more about production so that I can be the one crafting the films that others want to watch. I’m still young and I have a lot to learn in this area, but with the passion and drive that I have I know I can go far.
