“He collaborated on the weekly program newsletters and helped out a great deal with the Portfolio Night event that marked the end of the 2019 term. For the event, Amari was one of two teens to speak on stage about their experience with the program. As a public speaker he was confident, personable, and was able to hold the attention of the audience. In addition, he produced a short film for the event that detailed his experience as an intern by showing a “day in the life.” The film was witty, entertaining, informative, and artistically impressive.
