WonderLand
This short film follows the story of Ty, a young black inner-city youth having to write an assignment about his neighborhood and how he lives, little does his teacher know Ty’s environment is too rough to verbalize. The story incorporates themes of family and life, and it’s made to evoke the rawest form of sadness and empathy but at its core it’s about the hardships faced by a young kid stuck in a horrible place.
